this just in!
Two of my favorite cuties have sent pics for me to post. Yay! (You see, I have no camera of my own, and thus I have come to rely upon the kindness of strangers for my digital entertainment. Who else in the world of literature relies upon the kindness of strangers, eh? Five purple stars to anyone who knows!) Anywaysies, here is the adorable Quinn, daughter of Julia DeVillers, whose books y'all need to read, remember? Is she not the cutest girl ever? (Well, tied with Syndney, who you'll see in a moment...)  And here is Quinn's mama's book!!!!!! Did I mention that y'all should go read it? Because it's so fabulous???  And here is Syndney of the Cookies, who I will now dub Cookney. Or Sydkie? Oh, fine. Sydney, who makes yum yum cookies. Heeeey lauren!!! it is Sarah(with a H(THE ONLY ONE WITH A H AT YOUR BOOK SIGNING/TALK)heheh) well i just wanted to tell you that i got the See Jane Write book. my mom(who was bragging about me even though i gold her not to mention my writing at ALL) was all excited and started to read it because she wants to write a book on babies. the only bad thing was that she said that i couldnt read it until wednesday when all my tests are over(which i should have been studying for but i wanted to come and see you instead) which really sucked. oh yeah i started to read 13 in the car back home. it was really good so far!!!!!!! :D :D :D Anyway i cant wait for your how to be bad book to come out(did i mention it comes out on my birthday!?!?!?!?!) well i guess ill get that for a gift!!!! sooo cool. well bye Tue, Apr. 1st, 2008 01:40 am (UTC)

That book that Quinn's mom wrote, didn't that become a movie on Disney Channel, I thinkmit was called, 'Read it and Weap' Good movie, and I will DEFINETLY read it!!!!!!!!! Lauren you are just so cool, I mean it like amazes that you don't need to wear a heacy duty coat because you are SOOOOOOOOOO cool!!!!!!!! And you're really nice, I mean MOST (not all, but most) authors don't have a website, you're so understanding. I feel like I (and MANY other girls as well) xan open up to you. And you re VERY funny, you put a smile on my face every time I read your Random Musings of the Day. Well as Maddie would say, l8rs cheese gr8rs!!!!!

i read the book(AWESOME BTW) watched the movie which i do think is one of the best everfrom a book, and know i meet the author AND her daughter !!!! Does life get any better then that? I THINK NOT!!! LOL |
